Maintenance of ball screw pairs in CNC machine tools

1) Regularly inspect and adjust the axial clearance of the screw and nut pair to ensure the accuracy of reverse transmission and axial stiffness;
2) Regularly check whether the connection between the screw support and the bed is loose and whether the support bearings are damaged. If there are any of the above problems, tighten the loose parts in a timely manner and replace the supporting bearings;
3) The ball screw adopts lubricating grease, and the old grease on the screw is cleaned and replaced with new grease every six months. Ball screws lubricated with lubricating oil should be lubricated once a day before machine operation;
4) Be careful to avoid hard dust or chips from entering the screw protective cover and hitting the protective cover during operation. If the protective device is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
