Advantages of Ball Valve
High efficiency: Due to the size of the opening in the ball, ball valves are considered high recovery valves since they have a low-pressure drop and high flow capacity. There is little turbulence or resistance to fluid flow when the valve is fully open.
Convenient usage: As a result of their simple quarter-turn (90-degree) operation, ball valves are efficient and convenient to use. As the valve is relatively lightweight and small, it is also easy to install and remove.
Low maintenance: Compared to other types of valves, ball valves are simple and require less maintenance. Because the ball valve stem rotates without axial movement, the packing seal on the valve stem does not easily wear or fail. Ball valves are easy to disassemble and repair, and worn parts can be easily replaced.
Cost-efficient: The cost of ball valves is affordable compared to more complex valve types. Also, as they have low maintenance needs, they’re cheaper to maintain/implement in the long term.
Robust: Ball valves are among the most robust valve types because of their ability to withstand high pressures. Their wide range of materials enables them to be used in a variety of environments across a variety of industries.
Food and beverage industry: Hygiene and cleanliness are essential in the food and beverage industry. Many food and beverage producers use stainless steel ball valves because they are easy to clean, resistant to corrosion, and can withstand the high temperatures often involved in food processing.
Oil and gas industry: Oil and gas extraction and refining occur in extreme temperature and pressure conditions. This industry requires ball valves that can withstand such harsh environments. Stainless and carbon steel ball valves are often the go-to choice because of their high temperature and pressure endurance.

Water and wastewater industry: Water and wastewater facilities commonly use ball valves in water supply pipes, sewage systems, and treatment plants. Brass ball valves are popular due to their durability and resistance to corrosion. However, plumbing valves must be lead-free for use in potable water systems.
Chemical and pharmaceutical industries: Ball valves in the chemical industry must also resist a range of aggressive substances. Depending on the specific chemicals involved, manufacturers May use both stainless steel and plastic ball valves.
Agricultural and manufacturing industries: Agricultural applications for ball valves include controlling water flow in irrigation and livestock watering systems. Manufacturing industries use ball valves to regulate fluids and gases in processes like brewing, molding, and extrusion.

Types of Ball Valve
Three-way ball valve
There are three different patterns available in an american ball valve: Full port type, reduced port type, and venturi port type.
Floating ball valve
In a floating ball valve, the ball is held in place by two elastomeric seats. Between these seats, the ball is able to “float” inside the valve’s body.
Split-body ball valve
In a split-body ball valve, the valve’s body is divided into halves or thirds. The ball, stem, seat rings, and other internal mechanisms are held together inside the body with bolting.
Components of Ball Valves
Valve housing: All internal parts of a ball valve are contained within the valve housing or body. It is made of strong and stainless steel that protects the parts of the ball valve. It also allows access to an external control device that rotates the ball.
Ball: A ball with a hole in the middle. The hole in the middle is called a bore. The drill acts as a fluid flow opening where the cross section of the fluid flow and the drill is coplanar. If not, the flow is too tight.
Shaft: The shaft connects the ball to a control device that rotates the ball. The shaft has markings such as O-rings and packing rings to close the shaft and bonnet to avoid liquid leaks. The shaft can be physically used with a lever or hand wheel or used for electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuation.
Bonnet: A bonnet is a valve house extension that contains and protects the shaft and its packaging. It may be wrapped or tied around the body. It is also made of solid steel, and closes the hole made by connecting the shaft to the external control machine.
Seat: The valve seats provide sealing between the ball and its body. The seat upstream is adjacent to the inlet side of the valve. The bottom seat is located on the other side of the river upstream near the output side of the valve.
Customizable Options of Ball Valve
We offer a range of customizable options for the Electric Ball Valve, including different valve sizes, materials, and actuator types. This means merchants can tailor their valve solution to suit their specific application requirements, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Installation Requirements of Ball Valve
The front and rear pipelines of the ball valve are ready. The front and rear pipelines should be coaxial, and the sealing faces of the two flanges should be parallel. The pipeline should be able to withstand the weight of the ball valve, otherwise appropriate support must be provided on the pipeline.
Blow and clean the front and rear pipeline of the valve, remove the oil, welding slag, and all other impurities inside the pipeline. Check the marking of the ball valve and confirm that the ball valve is intact. Open and close the valve several times to confirm its normal operation.
Remove the protective pieces on the flanges at both ends of the ball valve. Check and remove any possible dirt in the valve hole, and then clean the valve hole. Even tiny particles between the valve seat and the ball may damage the sealing surface of the valve seat.
